    Description

    My mother owned an import shop in the mid 1970s. She traveled all over the world buying. This Chinese miniature tapestry piece is from her shop days. Not sure what the original intent was of these tiny beauties, but they make excellent dollhouse rugs. This one is maroon and gold in color and features a bird on a silk material. Measures 7" x 3.5" and approximately 1.25mm in thickness. Excellent unused condition. Note: reds are very difficult to photograph...I have done my best. Back is darker than front. Smoke free home.
